5.2-magnitude quake hits 296 km ENE of Alotau, Papua New Guinea: USGS

New York [US], September 30: An earthquake with a magnitude of 5.2 jolted 296 km ENE of Alotau, Papua New Guinea, at 16:51:36 GMT on Friday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.
The epicenter, with a depth of 10.0 km, was initially determined to be at 8.93 degrees south latitude and 152.77 degrees east longitude.
