Bahrain Youth Minister praises historical UAE-Bahrain ties at Global Women's Forum Dubai 2024

Dubai [UAE], November 27: Rawan bint Najeeb Tawfiqi, Minister of Youth Affairs of the Kingdom of Bahrain, emphasised the strength of the historic ties between the UAE and Bahrain, rooted in shared principles and visions that have fostered growth and development across various fields under the guidance of the leaderships of both nations.
In statements to the Emirates News Agency (WAM) on the sidelines of the Global Women's Forum Dubai 2024, Tawfiqi said Bahrain's Ministry of Youth adopts a clear methodology to equip youth with skills and education by identifying, refining, and showcasing their talents.
She highlighted the establishment of a talent database and the creation of pathways to guide young Bahrainis toward a brighter future.
She added, "We place our full trust in Bahraini youth as they are best equipped to envision the future and provide solutions to challenges. To this end, we launched the 'Mustashar Service,' which involves youth in addressing challenges effectively."
She noted that empowering youth is a core element of government work, with youth needs explicitly integrated into Bahrain's governmental programme.
Tawfiqi commended the collaborative efforts between the UAE and Bahrain in youth-related initiatives. She highlighted several bilateral agreements that have positively influenced the launch of joint youth programmes and initiatives, fostering exchanges and strengthening ties between the youth of both nations.
She further noted that the latest collaboration involved the participation of UAE youth institutions in the "Hope Network," launched by Bahrain this month. The initiative connects nations confident in their youth's potential, recognising them as the hope for the future.
