Canada, Czech Republic sign defence cooperation MOU

Ottawa [Canada], February 16: Canada and Czech Republic signed a defence cooperation memorandum of understanding (MOU), Canada's National Defence said on Thursday.
The MOU outlines how the two countries will work collaboratively to strengthen cooperation in bilateral and multilateral training, military education, defence research and technology, and mutual logistics research, the ministry said in a news release.
It will also enable Canada and Czech Republic to work together more closely in supporting Ukraine, the release said.
During this important moment for Euro-Atlantic security, Canada is working closely with NATO Allies and international partners to provide and coordinate comprehensive military assistance for Ukraine, the release added.
