Fireworks warehouse explosion kills 5 and injures 38

Zamboanga [Palestine], June 30:The explosion at the artillery warehouse occurred at around 4:00 p.m. on June 29 (local time) with an area of ​​impact of more than 1 km in radius, damaging many houses and nearby commercial infrastructure .
Zamboanga City Mayor John Dalipe arrived at the scene and confirmed the number of casualties. Mr. Dalipe said the explosion affected structures and power lines in the area. Roads near the incident site have also been blocked.
Rappler news website quoted Mr. John Dalip as saying that 38 other people were injured in the explosion. Zamboanga City's Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office announced that among the injured, 30 people had mild conditions, while the remaining 8 people had serious but not life-threatening injuries.
