Iran inaugurates major wind farm in SE province

Tehran [Iran], June 7: Iran on Thursday inaugurated a 50-megawatt (MW) wind power plant in the southeastern province of Sistan and Baluchestan.
The project, initiated in 2020, was completed with an investment of over 56.5 million euros (61.5 million U.S. dollars), according to Iran's official news agency IRNA.
The Mil Nader power plant in Nimruz County spans 1,000 hectares and features 20 wind turbines, each capable of generating 2.5 MW of electricity, said the IRNA.
This new addition brings Iran's total number of wind power plants to 11, with a combined capacity of 352.22 MW, it said.

SPeX evaluates MSME's perception of sustainability across three dimensions: willingness, awareness, and implementation. The SPeX value declined 5.3% in Q4 2024 over Q3 2024. Though awareness and willingness dimensions fell 11% and 12%, respectively from the previous quarter, the implementation dimension rose significantly by 41%.
