Road accidents claim 92 lives in Laos in July

Vientiane [Laos], August 20: A total of 92 people were killed in road accidents across Laos in July, an increase from the previous month's figure of 55, according to the latest report from the Lao Ministry of Public Security.
According to the report issued by the traffic police department under the Ministry of Public Security on Thursday, 560 road accidents were reported across the country in July, with 92 people killed, 848 injured and 994 vehicles damaged.
The Lao capital Vientiane reported the highest number of road accidents during the cited month, followed by Savannakhet and Champasak provinces.
