Abu Dhabi [UAE], December 5: Continuing its humanitarian efforts, the UAE's 'Operation Chivalrous Knight 3' has provided a new batch of modern, fully equipped ambulances to hospitals in the Gaza Strip.
The initiative aims to support the healthcare sector in Gaza, which is under immense pressure due to the current humanitarian crisis and the increasing challenges in delivering health services following the disruption of hundreds of ambulances.
The delivery includes state-of-the-art ambulances equipped with advanced medical technologies, specifically designed to address the critical needs of hospitals, facilitate the transport of injured individuals, and ensure the provision of urgent medical care. This initiative comes in response to the significant challenges facing the healthcare sector, including the widespread destruction and malfunction of ambulances, which have further intensified the crisis in emergency medical response and patient transport.
The move underscores the UAE's commitment to supporting the health sector in Gaza and alleviating the suffering of its residents. Such humanitarian assistance plays a pivotal role in meeting urgent needs and enhancing the capacity of healthcare facilities to address the increasing demand for medical services.
These efforts are part of Emirati continuous humanitarian initiatives under the Operation Chivalrous Knight 3' operation, which includes support for the health sector in Gaza through various forms of medical assistance. This includes essential medicines, medical equipment, and emergency treatment supplies, ensuring improved healthcare services and strengthening emergency response capabilities.
Previously, Operation Chivalrous Knight 3 had provided ambulances equipped with the latest technologies and medical equipment to the Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza to address the disastrous health situation amid the ongoing war in the region.
