Army bike expedition departs from Delhi for Dras to celebrate silver jubilee of Kargil Vijay Diwas

New Delhi, June 13 (ANI): The courageous riders of the 13 Jammu and Kashmir Rifles set off on an extraordinary journey from the National War Memorial in New Delhi to the Kargil War Memorial in Dras, riding powerful Harley Davidson motorcycles. The event, taking place from June 13-20, 2024, will include motivational speeches and interactions with Veer-Naris and ex-servicemen to honour our heroes and celebrate the silver jubilee of Kargil Vijay Diwas. Lieutenant General Upendra Dwivedi flagged off the expedition. This expedition not only projects the spirit of adventure and panache of outdoor life of the Indian Army but also showcases the strength and solidarity when it culminates at Kargil War Memorial. The entire bike rally is a manifestation of 'Espirit de Corps', dedication to the nation and remembrance of the men who sacrificed their lives for the safety and glory of the country.
