Riot-torn Manipur faces conflict for 3rd straight day, HM Shah takes stock of security situation

Imphal (Manipur), November 18 (ANI): Manipur witnessed protests and conflicts for the third straight days over killing of six villagers by militants. Angry protesters took to streets demanding justice, with some resorting to violence over the incident. In another act of violence, miscreants also vandalised BJP’s RK Imo Singh’s house. Continuously deteriorating law and order in the state led to security forces conduct a flag march in Imphal. Taking the situation in account, HM Amit Shah convened a high-level meeting with senior officials to assess the security situation.
